What is Knockerball?
Knockerball is a single-chamber inflatable sphere with inner handles and adjustable shoulder straps. Knockerballs range from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, and your height determines the size or fit. Knockerballs can be used to perfect your rolls, flips, and wheels. "KnockerBallers" describes the sensation as almost defying gravity; just imagine the sensation and mobility that a Knockerball allows you to experience without putting any stress on the body. With two or more Knockerballs, the experience is catapulted into rip-roaring laughter, exhilarating knocks, and rolls that will keep you coming back for more. Organizing a KnockerSoccer game is truly a blast. Still, we will warn you: organized games generally break into literal knockdown chaos, with the only resulting pain being from laughing so hard and having too much fun.

The KnockerballNC Story
Lots of “mid-life” changes led to engaging the entrepreneurial spirit. Equipment arrived, inflated and my daughter was the first one in. When she and her friend collided for the first time, the giggle that shot across the field toward me told me that I may have just found what I am supposed to be when I grow up. Today, that photo makes up the back of our trailer.
My oldest and youngest son collide, pre daughter in law bday party – years later, that silhouette is our logo. Again – the laughter!
My middle son has been by my side working many events with me, sharing incredible memories in front of thousands of people and teams.
First large event of 800 – wow. I made it, followed by next day announcement of a global pandemic and everything being shut down.
Given the 6 foot rule, I went on hikes in the ball, brought a smile to many and kept the marketing going even when we couldn’t hold events.
Comeback – (bring social back to graduates who were now used to drive by birthday celebrations and online learning alone in their rooms)
Events pick back up and go from birthday celebrations to full scale corporate events, college and university relationships, friends getting together - pretty much, you name it and we have done it in all kinds of weather from snow to 104 degrees (next to a pool), doing an equal number of adult events as kids and many mixtures. In each one, the laughter never gets old. The photos and video are one of a kind.
We offer all kinds of events, but the biggest thing we offer is a chance to laugh and smile, be a kid again. In today’s world of mental health focus, I see this as one of the greatest sources of positivity that you could participate in, even if you are only watching.
Coming into this, I hadn’t been dealt the greatest hand of cards to play, but I played the one that I had. It has taken me through times of despair, fear and loneliness with a smile waiting to be had. When I was growing up, Coca Cola wanted to offer the world a change of peace and harmony with a coke and a smile. I want to spread that same kind of cheer wherever we go, while I continue celebrating my kids and now grandkids wherever they may be. Have Trailer, Inflatable fun and an air pump – will travel!

Some 30 years ago and a lot of gray hairs ago, I created my LLC that today is a DBA for KnockerballNC.
